Buckeye Benefit Consulting was officially formed on September 11, 2008.  Our founder and President, Eric J. Rine, had been in business for around 11 years at that point and felt that he needed to take his company in a direction that focused mainly on his native Ohio market.

Mr. Rine started his career in January 1998 with Trustmark Insurance in Chicago, Illinois.  After four years learning employee benefits from the inside out, he landed a position with Talus Brokerage in Cleveland, Ohio.  Talus was the largest General Agent in the state of Ohio at the time.  Two years later, he found himself living his dream of being an independent agent.

His strategic partnerships with other local business owners puts BBC's customers in the fortunate position to find excellent service and value in all of their endeavors.  Having served in the Air Force since 1990 (and presently serving in the Air Force Reserves), Rine brings a military precision to our agency, and we have come to expect excellence in all we do.

Today, we operate as a full-service insurance agency, representing several companies in all arenas of insurance: Life, Health, Auto/Home, Commercial, and Supplemental (Voluntary) Benefits.
